last week
last week was a v busy week... convoc, followed by chalet after chalet...
convoce ceremony was really boring... waited for nearly 1 plus hr for 3 seconds of fame... but e after ceremony was great! took lotsa pics wif frenzs n family... despite e absence of my little bro n sis...
think i really miss e photo taking session... hope to relive e moment by gg to esplanade, fullerton, sch n hall wif frenzs... e planning is in process... anyone wanna join? hee
a tinge of regret too... cuz i din take photos wif some of my frenzs... cuz my mum kept bugging me to go home... so no choice... =p
grad chalete turnout of e chalet is real miserable on e first dae... cuz majority working le... left only me, jj n diana staying over... luckily, jj managed to work her charm n ask her frenz to stay... so at least we haf a security guard guarding in e living rm... hee... thus, me n diana able to sleep in peace...
had a gd chat wif jj n alv over breakfast... managed to gain some insight into wat guys r thinking majority of e time... =p anyway, alv also benefited loh... noe wat gals r thinking too... haha... think i might be too frank over his ex issue...
anyway, haf a "heated debate" (not very heated though... cuz me n jj always share e same pt of view) over who will we choose in event of choices ( a hypothetical case cuz we really bo liao... dun think will happen in reality...)
here's e scenario: ceteris paribus, who will u choose between
1. someone whom u like 100% n tt someone like u 100%
2. someone whom u like 90% but tt someone like u 110%?
me n jj will definitely choose e latter... cuz we always believe in e le chateliar principle (aka e equilibrium rule)... reason being guys will tend to reduce their liking of someone over time n gals will increase their liking... so, if 1 is choosen, disequilibrium will occur... hence, 2 will be e most optimal choice in e long run... agree? hee
anyway, this reminds me of another "debate" where eunice n suzhen shared e same pt of view while me n lihuan stood on e other side of e fence... hee... shall talk abt it next time...
oh ya... e highlight of e chalet must be e game "GUESSTURE". it is indeed entertaining... me n jj r e best pai da... will beat all our opponents... haha... provided she does e acting n i guess lah... cuz i sux at acting... hee...
without fail, diana really charms wif her acting n was hot property... everyone wanna her to be in their grp... hee... kudos to diana's hilarious acting skills n e

btw, gotta thx ppls who showed support for e agar agar me n jj tried to make... haha... might not taste splendid but we really put in e effort le... =p
anyway, despite e hiccups in e planning etc, it really ended on a gd note... furthermore, everyone will be busy working in e very near future, chances of get together will be diminished... but really hope tt e frenzship forged will withstand e test of time, busyness etc... dun forget me k? =p

after leaving marine square, we decided to give our poor feet their well deserved rest... went to burger king at raffles city...
again, joy treated us drinks n desserts... n as sl is always into some "mishaps" when handling drinks etc... we decided to steer her clear of such stuffs... but something unexpected happened... *suspense*
ya... someone spilled e whole cup of coke n tt was ME! e culprit must be sl's clown pant... hee... cuz i wore her pant n e curse must haf been casted on me... n how embarrassing... everyone was looking... luckily, e clown pant was waterproofed... n i was not really wet... *heaved a sigh of relief*
did some massive cleaning up in e washroom cuz my slipper was wet n sticky...
after which, was happily eating my hershey pie when e ice cream landed on my shirt again... erm... must be e cursed pant... made me such a clown thruout e entire time at bk... hee
as e nite was still young, we went to joy's house to get e gowns n try out at my home... was really a display of diff types of gowns n my parents n belle's parents were e supportive audience... hee
went on to discuss e hen party till e wee hrs... really a tiring dae...
shopping for gowns n hen party discussion part 1
went wif my cousins n siblings to shop for gowns, shoes, accesories etc for e wedding... it was a long dae... we COMBED e whole of orchard n city hall in search of E GOWN for each n everyone...
our first destination was e daniel yam at heeren... spent nearly 1 plus hr at tt small shop... e 5 of us nearly tried each n every gown in e shop... conclusion: e designers r not creative loh... my cousin, joy (who was 4 yrs older than me) wore e same design for her porm many yrs back... to think tt they r still recycling e same design now... except in lotsa colours... but e sale assistants r quite friendly... hee... despite having to deal wif 5 ma fan ladies... in e end, i settled for a black dress for e day time... just a simple one... n was quite a gd bargain since it used to be 69 bucks but gg at 39 now... YEAH!
my younger cousin, anabelle, wanted e pink dress but all of us advised her against it cuz it is too ex n not worth it... furthermore, it does remind me of e gong wan xiao jie in meteor garden 1... haha
n as usual, i dun haf tt much stamina shopping... so haf to recharge my energy wif food... ate old chang kee finger food... never haf such utmost satisfaction for a long time... YUMMY!!!
went on to paragon n e 5 of us diverted our attention to other stuffs instead of our gowns n ended up wasting lotsa time... hee... joy caught sight of a handbag while my sis was busy looking at casual wear... n we even went to metro to search for a bright red bag for my auntie as she requires it for e hongbaos... we wasted quite of time n we decide to move on to our next destination... mphosis at taka...
however, as all of us were hungry... we went to haf a quick dinner at mac... think i really miss e gd old fillet... it was so so delicious... haha... mayb cuz it is e first time i'm savouring a burger after my long break... hee... oh ya, my cousin treated us... so nice! anyway, realised tt we could still use our matric card for e student meal after graduation... cuz joy haf been using it for so long... hee... btw, realised tt she noe my sec frenz... cuz sq happened to be on internship in her company... this big discovery was when she saw e photo i took wif sq in my wallet... hee
while eating, we utilise e time fully by discussing e hen party we planned for jen. think jen is quite low profile n does not want such a party n cuz she dun haf frenzs to plan one for her since majority of them r married... so her younger sis, joy, rented a chalet n plan to throw a memorable party for her... we were part of e organisers... n thus, this party is courtesy of e ong family... haha
anyway, this party must be a success cuz we haf to prove tv boy wrong... he was laughing at e idea of a chalet hen party... n was saying it was quite off n nobody haf such a party at chalet... so ya... we will make him regret wat he said... haha *grinning*
joy came up wif e idea of having a few hunks to dance around jen... anyway, e idea was further modified to a manhunt n every guy will haf a role to play... we will haf a nerdy one sucking on a lollipop, beach boy wif a float around him, a guy walking in wif his bike in conjunction wif e song tian mi mi, hunk (if we can find one) n an indian guy who dance to e tune of some indian music... n my cousin will be e bachelorette trying to choose one out of e five of them... e great finale will be a "striptease" performance by e 5 guys dancing around jen to e tuo diao song... haha... such crazy idea rite? meanwhile, we haf to find 5 super onz guys to help out... so any onz frenzs reading this, can sign up... hee... we r left wif 2 vacancies... let me do some hardselling... hee... e candidate who signed up get free dinner n lotsa of opportunities to oggle at chio gals, free stayover n mahjong... haha... cuz jen n joy r very chio... oh ya, my sis too... so sign up before e places r taken up... hee
then, we proceeded to mphosis... e shop was damn crowded... so many ppls... saw a few pretty dresses but we decided to kiv n see if we can get better ones... i also saw lotsa casual tops... so tempted to buy... hee... but din cuz we really haf no time to look n try on other stuffs le... we also cant find any stuffs in iestan wisma...
went on to e much anticipated ck tangs... cuz they used to haf lotsa nice gowns... but it was such a disappointment... except for daniel yam (AGAIN!), there were no other areas selling gowns after e massive revamp tt tangs went thru... *sigh*
we rushed to city hall... e 5 of us were literally running amidst e crowds... luckily, my sis is agile enough to kai lu for e 4 of us... haha... but she always disappeared from our sight... cuz she really walked (or run?)v fast... hee
upon reaching city hall, all of us were lamenting upon e sight of e polices around us... we were joking tt we must leave this station fast... if not, terrorist attack then we die... haha... despite noeing tt it was due to national dae preview...
we hurried our way to marina square... i was looking forward to e 272 bucks pink dress tt joy set her sight on but din buy it cuz it was way above our budget... on e way to marina square, we saw e magnificant fireworks... really looked diff from tv... so nice... we were so excited tt we wanna take a pic wif e fireworks... but my sis was a lan photographer... by e time she took out e cam n took e pic, e firework was gone... wat a disappointment! *sigh* so anyone wanna see firework during national day, must jio me... hee... cuz it is really v beautiful...
e revamp marina square is really messy... i simply cant recognise it... we spent lotsa time figuring out where e shops selling apparels etc... despite e v messy layout, it looks really happening! there r lotsa new eateries n restaurants... n food looks really appealing... oh ya, e sakae sushi at ms haf a new concept n seating plan... i wanna try e cross legged sitting position... so tt e atmosphere will be more jap... hee...
i saw e 272 dress after lotsa failed attempts at locating e shop... it looked really gd on joy but then, e price is too hefty... we decided against it... went to mphosis again. haiz... my youngest sis n anabelle wanna buy e 2 black dresses but my sis said look like ghosts floating around... haha... in e end, we were e last leaving e shop n e sale ppls were waiting for us to decide n leave... hee... luckily, joy bought a black gown n i think she looks great on it... but, me n her cant help feeling worrisome cuz aunties n uncles might nag abt e black colour...
e dae did not end at mphosis... although it was 9 plus le... i shall continue on another entry next time... hee

finally, i'm able to meet up wif jj n gang... it is a celebration of jj bdae as e title suggested...
come to think of it, i only noe jj since yr 2 sem 1 ba... but guess we r destined to be gd frenzs... we haf so many things in common... hee... to name a few, shared some crazy experiences of chasing our dearest jerry n zaizai... got insulted by a bellboy at conrad n share lotsa similarities in our life encounters... thus, since it is her bdae party, how can i be absent?
furthermore, since i'm e one who always come up wif crazy ideas on e dress codes such as a mini skirt outing, xmas photo taking etc... i came up wif e makeup party this time... everyone is supposed to turn up wif makeup... hee...
since majority of e gang r working, me, xp, diana n nat haf to shoulder e responsibilties of getting jj a surprise bdae present. YES! jj likes surprises alot!!! any guys interested in her, be more creative k? haha...
on e way to meet xp, big bro big aka xp's bf sms me saying xp asked him to sms me for permission to join us for dinner... orhz... i dun haf a choice rite? haha... anyway, xp, i'm used to having him around... haha... he quite auntie n can entertain us... =p... although he "bully n suan" jj n me, but nm... we used to it le... can just ignore... hee... will haf time for revenge... haha... chalet n ur wedding loh... lol *evil smile*
oh ya, e surprise present was tough! i dun wanna outshine any jj FRENZ in terms of surprises ma... lol
so we decided to wait for her to come n see whether she likes e present anot... (excuses!!! haha... act time was running out n jj arrived at tampines le) we finally settled on a handbag for her... but she haf to pay e remaining sum of 55 bucks... hee... my usual style of buying bdae present... better to get something tt e person likes ma... hee
oh ya... we must be a gang of hard to please ppls... haha... went to din tai feng first... then i was saying me n diana confirmed wont be full... haha... cuz we r e eating gang... n since majority of e ppls r not so int in din tai feng anyway, we ventured up tm in search of gd n filling food to satify my hunger... hee... sound so carnivorous... =p wanted to eat at phil but they only haf outdoor seats for 9 ppls... *sigh* so we went fish n co loh... act i never like fish n co except for e seafood platter for 2... but i cant eat seafood now... so no choice... fish n chip as usual loh... i'm such a conservative loh... but e taste was quite gd... hee... since i din eat fish n chip for so long... hee
although e dinner was not tt fantastic... wat made my dae was e company!!! hee... really v enjoyable... there were many jokes of e dae... haha... e impulse fang lang qi, e nite n dae time joke etc. as usual, diana was v funny... she always managed to spice up e atmosphere... haha... n not forgetting e unique cake we made for jj... hee
oh ya... diana also naive... to think tt she believe e story tt jj weaved abt me... lol
anyway, expectedly, all of them said i looked diff... but i'm still ME! e usual ME! hee...

receive e package for work commercement... i was sighing at it cuz it will mark e end of my freedom... fancy coming home at 3am n waking up at 6am again e next dae. e thot of it is enough to kill me le... =(
furthermore, i haf to spent my bdae in a foreign country wif lotsa ppls tt i dun even noe well... haiz... so sianz...
think these demerits already outweigh e merits of cheap shopping... sian 1/2
tiring but fruitful dae
erm... guess i'm someone who is really stubborn... despite bad reviews by urnice, ning n shadow on curls, my confidence in curls was not tt shaken... cuz i haf been having e same straight hair for like so many yrs... except it grow longer everytime... furthermore, despite bad experiences by diana, jj n roomie, i was still unconvinced tt sam was no longer gd... cuz he did a nice haircut for my sis... n i think i trust him... he was e one i went to for e past 2 yrs i think... n i think i TRUST him...
haiz... think he betrayed my n my sis's trust! cuz he recommended curls for me n i even called my sis whether i should accept his suggestion... my sis said,"YES".
haiz... think i really look weird wif this curls n my bro said i looked like a bowl of maggi mee... haiz... n my sis n mum said i looked better wif straight hair...
but nm lah... wat done cannot be undone... (actually, can but...) nm, a whole new look... hee *ahQ spirit*
furthermore, i did technical colour on e same dae... really tiring cuz been sitting at e hair salon for e whole noon... moreover, my sis said e red highlight dun look gd on me... she even lamented tt it seemed to be part of national dae celebration... haiz... but e red will fade in no time n become brown de... so i'm not so bothered by tt... hee
oh ya... to all sly's fans... u all should go to kimage ps! cuz one of e xi tou guy really looked like him... including behaviour n attitude... haha... but must commend him for his skills... think he is one of e best in washing hair le... e rest cant even be bothered n just do a quick job... at least he cares to ask whether e water is too cold etc...
btw, e day did not end at kimage in ps... i went to ck tangs MAC to get some makeup as there was a promotion going on. just buy e liquid foundation n pressed powder n u will get 4 items free. wat a bargain rite? furthermore, if u spent 100 n above, u will get a free makeover... hee... anyway, recommend lynette... although she is an ah gua, she gives really good suggestion to brighten up e features etc. anyway, it is high time we learn to accept someone for who she is n not wat we want them to be... =p
