iT's mY liFe...

an eventful 26th june

it's been awhile since i last blogged... finally, some happy stuffs to add on to this growing gloomy blog...

after 6+ mths of sleep-LESS n sleep-LESSER nites (or dawn), i'm finally able to enjoy the fruit of my labour ie. enjoy a dae break when i'm free from deferment or even WIP... YEAH!!! i was overwhelmed wif excitement e nite before... cuz it's my first time gg jb since pri 4 i think.... haha... think i'm such a mountain piggy in e midst of e gang... one of e client, fei li pu, even haf to tell me how much to bring etc... as if it was an excursion... duhz!!!

e morn started off wif me n candice meeting at beekim's place. i was amazed by her collection of precious moments figurines... anyway, without further ados, i was busy scanning e figurines to see whether e one we bought r in e "land of precious thots". HAHA... guess my theory of buying e sweet 16 works... although sorta got suaned by e salegal... but it sorta refreshing since i seldom get suaned by ppls these daes... lol...

anyway, think we were running late... our poor most shuai vt was already waiting at kranji... to think tt i even told him to shop around tt area while awaiting for our arrival... little did i noe tt kranji was such a niao bu sheng dan place... hee... but to steal a phrase from him... hao de dong xi si zhi de deng dai de... HAHA...

soon, all of us were in e same car waiting at e custom... think all of them haf a gd laugh at my passport pic... hee... e custom official even haf to ask whose passport was tt... i was like... so paiseh... haha... so e morale of e story is, choose a gd kiddy pic for ur children's passport or even ic pics next time, dun choose such a spastic one... lol... haha... think my mum must be quite forward looking then. she must be trying to prevent unnecessary boredom for me n my frenzs. LOL... MUMMY, you xin le... hee

e moment i set foot in jb (not literally lah, it's e car tyres in this case), it really reminds me of bangkok. e heavy traffic n big billboards... at tt instant, i really miss bangkok. i miss e shopping n eating... a tinge of regret overcome me... at first, i'm supposed to go bangkok wif u zap jie mei de... but e plan was postponed n eventually aborted cuz we cant agree on e dates wif sw n his gang. luckily, my nice u zap jie mei promised to go wif me again... mayb in e later half of e yr... tog wif her bf... haha... although i dun wanna be a big light bulb... but e lure of shopping n fabulous food in bangkok entice me too much le... think i can pull shi jia along too ba... then tog, we can form UOJ... (yes, union of jiemeis!)... hee

enough of e sidetrack, we finally arrived at our first destination ie. dim sum place. as there were too much detour, i only vividly rem tt it was in e middle of e so called bridal street... e food was not tt fantastic but it was cheap. since pictures speak a thousand words, enjoy e pics!!!







following tt, we hopped onto our "Initial D" car again. haha... talking abt e car, i think it must be feeling inferior when it meet cars of its same model. cuz it was modified until it no longer looks like its sibling...

after a hearty brunch, we headed for SHOPPING. e moment candice set sight on MANGO, she was literally pulling me towards it. bee kim was also v excited abt it. not tt i'm not excited abt sale but it's just tt MANGO's clothes r just not my style. but i saw a nice casual bag... at first, thinking of getting for qq... cuz me n shijia still owe her a bdae present. but then, think it's too ex le... only bought a belt in e end which costs 12 bucks... a v gd bargain... hee... but then again, wonder when i will use it... *pondering*

then we proceeded to a surf shop where most of e items r beachwear... wanna get a dress but decided against it cuz it was too ex... n there's not much occasion when i can put tt on...

after all e retail therapy, we were feeling abit guilty tt we dumped e guys behind to shop on our own... we tried to call one of them but to no avail. n being e one who haf alot of stupid ideas, i even suggested using e paging system ie. e type to page for missing kids. hee... n noeing it will be embarassing for them, we decide to page for Teddy cuz it sounds more like a kid's name. haha... but luckily, this evil plan of mine din materalise... lol

n finally after searching high n low for them (erm, kua zhang abit ma), i finally spot them... n we went shopping AGAIN. since there's too much to be said abt shopping, i shall highlight some interesting bits... heee

teddy tried on a denim vest... think it goes well wif his outfit tt dae... but being me, talking wifout processing thru e big brain, i told him it was quite sua shuai... hee... which is true ma... cuz most of my frenzs dun wear such stuffs... mayb cuz i'm a mountain piggy lah... but i rem one of my most IN frenz also dun wear ma... haha... but he looked gd in it... then all of us keep asking him whether he wanna buy anot... but he din get it in e end... hope he din regret ba... hee... n btw, sorrie... *trying to squeeze out a guilty face* hee... hope i din do injustice to e denim vest but saying sua shuai... hee... mayb e poor vest could get an owner de... now, i sorta hai it being left on e shelf (erm, should be hanger) again... but then again, dun think my words matter so much rite? =p

then we went to an optical shop to get contact lenses n tried on sunglasses... think i looked awful in all sunglasses... haiz... wanna act cool also cannot... haha... then when trying to retrieve jj's instruction on which contact lenses to buy, i realised tt i deleted it accidentally when my msgs were full. *sotong me again* n kind teddy offered to let me use his phone to sms jj... thx alot... hee... n think i helped jj got a gd bargain... haha... hope this will cheer her up abit... just rem tt me n qq will always be around... cheer up k? hee...

finally, hunger pangs strike all e shopaholics... hee... n off we went in search of food... act, think jb got quite a few theme restaurants... saw flintstone theme restaurant in jusco... in e end, we settled for a cafe tt looked e most populated.

quenching our thirst in e most ladylike manner... HAHA

this cafe serves v "unique" noodles... whereas all cafes r trying to grab a share of e lamian/pasta mkt, this cafe serves nissin noodles... but it really taste gd... haha... think much much better than wat i can cook... no wonder my little bro always complain abt e quality of instant noodles tt i cook... hee... i shall improve on my lacklustre cooking skills this break... hee... anyway, it also serve v gd toast... miss e toast tt teddy they all ordered... yummy!!!
